Join instructors Thom Caraway (letterpress) and Derek Landers (screen printing) for a powerful workshop at the Spokane Print and Publishing Center. In this hands-on class, you'll use both letterpress and screen printing techniques to create protest posters on a pre-designed background. With themes focused on Juneteenth, Pride, or both, you’ll explore how art can amplify activism through bold designs and meaningful messages.
With preset backgrounds to guide you, the class allows you to focus on making your own impact by printing with purpose. Thom and Derek will teach you the ropes of their respective crafts while encouraging you to create pieces that speak to the importance of protest, social justice, and activism.
