About the event
Making art should be fun, so let’s have some fun. We aren’t going to worry about precision or registration, clean impressions or perfection of any sort. We’ll utilize SPPC’s vast array of blocks and large wood type to make multi-layered, colorful prints. Most of all, we’ll have a good time!

The class is taught by Thom Caraway, the designer and publisher for Rock & Sling and Trochaic Letterpress Studio. He has designed over 50 books and magazines, and teaches courses in editing, book design, and publishing at Whitworth University. He has been working in letterpress printing since 2016, and is a founder of the SPPC.
