About the event
Come make custom prints using textures, layers, and large-format wood type!
We'll explore the processes and techniques of the letterpress monoprint! A monoprint is a one-of-a-kind, and you'll earn how they are made with letterpress techniques: ink application, overprinting, texture, and color combinations. Some light typesetting might be in order if you want to include a very short message as part of your monoprint process. The focus will be on the aesthetic qualities of the letterform as a unique art object (I know you've all got a favorite letter!).
No experience necessary!
